Toy-themed tower defense game

Toy wars

In Toy Shire: Room One, you play as Kevin who just received new toy gifts to play with from your family. However, your old toys are not too thrilled by the idea of being replaced and forgotten, they decide to stand together against you and destroy your newly acquired playthings. Luckily for you, there are little green army soldiers included in your collection.

There are three main stages in this game and each one boasts a unique layout and multiple pathways to consider. Aside from the usual upgradable towers and turrets that can be placed at strategic locations, you can also assign foot soldiers along the path to provide additional support and firepower. Monitor the battlefield and direct them to where they're needed the most.

When you reach the third level, you will come face-to-face with the commander of the enemy troops named Memphis-X. Do whatever it takes to stop him before he crushes all the toys in his wake. Before diving in, just know this game is just a prologue and preview for the full game slated to arrive sometime in Q2 2024, so there's not much past the boss fight.

Charming and nostalgic

It looks great and offers deeper gameplay than what you expect. This prologue sets up nicely for when the full game releases. If you enjoy the experience here, then definitely put it on your radar come launch day. Recommended.
